MRS MARGARET STARKIE
The funeral took place on December 21 at All Saints' Parish Church, Hoole, Chester, followed by cremation at Chester, of Margaret Starkie, of Upon, Chester, who died at the Countess of Chester Hospital on December 14, aged 82.
Mrs Starkie was born in Chester. She worked at Lloyds Bank before joining the County Surveyor's Department.
During the war she took part in ARP work including fire watching at Watergate House.
