Family Statistics

Where a cause of death has been recorded in the family records it has been grouped into broad categories. This covers 432 deaths across the tree for which a cause is known. The causes are written in many different ways, so they have been sorted into categories for the charts and the groupings are a guide rather than a clinical classification.

About this data. Only deaths with a cause written in the records are counted, so this is a subset of everyone in the tree rather than a full mortality picture. Categories are a grouping of free-text causes. Infectious clusters usually reflect the era and living conditions of the time rather than anything inherited. Last updated 29-08-2026.
