Notes from Anna:

My dad Arthur, and my Uncle Frank both had very large noses. Frank Cartman lived with Tom Cartman and wife Betsy. He related some stories to me. He referred to Uncle Tom and Aunt Betsy. They lived in Buffington Street, Fall River, Massachusetts area. Dighton is where John and Annie lived. These towns are quite close. They all worked at the cotton mills in Fall River, Mass. and I believe Tom Cartman was a fireman there. Do not know where Tom Cartman was buried. John and Annie Cartman were burried in Palmer Street Cemetery in Somerset, Ma. Nice big headstone. Hathaway funeral home was in charge. I never knew Tom nor Betsy for some reason. Also there was an Annie or Ann Taylor whom we all lost track of. Frank told me about aunt Alice Ann. But I was young and didn't listen. Arthur Cartman is buried in Albuquerque, New Mexico at Fairview Cemetery.

I lived with my parents Arthur and Beatrice in Taunton, Massachusetts until 1950 when we moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. After marrying Jack Cannon, we lived in Albuquerque for 50 years then built our retirement home in Bayfield, Colorado. The most beautiful place on earth to us. A forest of 100 foot pines, spruce trees, aspen that turn so gold, we live at 7900 feet altitude. The winters are harsh but we deal with them. 11 feet of snow last winter (2004).
