This twentieth Day of May 1801 -
I William Sadler in the Township of Huxley and Parish of Waverton and County of Chester knowing it is appointed for all men once to die and after death the judgement and being weak in body but of a sound mind and memory -
I do hereby make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say in form and manner following first that my debts and funeral expenses be paid as to my worldly affairs.

Item I give and bequeath unto my loving wife all my stock and furniture which I now possess to have it in her own possession during her natural life but if in case she should marry again she shall have five pounds only and one bed at her own choice but if she should not marry again but continue in the name of Martha Sadler I give and bequeath unto my loving wife the interest of all the ready money I now possess.
Item I give and bequeath unto my son Jonathan Sadler out of the ready money I now possess ten pound of lawful British money to be paid at the decease of my loving wife
Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Morrey out of the ready money I now possess ten pounds of lawful British money to be paid at the decease of my loving wife
Item I give and bequeath unto my son Ephraim and my son William and my daughter Hannah Sadler all the rest of the ready money I now possess to be divided share and share alike at the decease of my loving wife
Item I give and bequeath unto my son Ephraim Sadler and my son William Sadler and my daughter Hannah Sadler all that shall be gotten of the farm I now live at so long as they all continue unmarried and stay with their mother at home share and share alike
Item I give and bequeath to my son Jonathan Sadler and to my son James Sadler and to my son Ephraim Sadler and to my son William Sadler and to my daughter Mary Morrey and to my daughter Hannah Sadler all my stock and household furniture that shall remain at the decease of my loving wife to be divided share and share alike at my wife decease - and as to my executors I leave my son Ephraim Sadler and my son James Sadler to be executors to this my last will and testament
