Charged with felonisously stealing at Leigh on the 15th of Dec. 1848 eight silver tea spoons, two gold rings, a purse, a snuff box and other articles the property of James Matthews. Sentance: 6 months in Prison and twice whipped. Discharged: 16 June 1849
