His shares in Fredeick W. Tattersall Limited were bequeath to his son David Tattersall. The whole of the rest of the estate after payment of funeral and testamentary expenses was bequeath to his wife Mavis.

One of the saddest moments in my year of office was the tragic death of the Senior Vice-President, Arthur Tattersall. He was a man of renowned ability, both in his working environment and as a Club Officer and a member of very long standing - right back to the war and Blackfriars House days. He is sadly missed for his friendship, good humour and loyalty.

His ashes were laid to rest in in Section T of the grounds of the Crematorium
