One of the saddest moments in my year of office was the tragic death of the Senior Vice-President, Arthur Tattersall. He was a man of renowned ability, both in his working environment and as a Club Officer and a member of very long standing - right back to the war and Blackfriars House days. He is sadly missed for his friendship, good humour and loyalty.
