Brodick Notes - page 8.

On Monday afternoon of this week Brodick suffered a communal loss through the departure for London of Mrs Tattersall and her son, Mr E. W. Tattersall, the well-known photographer and local correspondent of various newspapers. Mrs Tattersall's health has not been satisfactory for some years back, and a change to the drier atmosphere of the South was rendered imperative although it meant the sundering of many ties. Her work in Brodick in connection with the Church and all

Edward, who lives with his wife in King Harry Lane, St Albans, beat a picture ban at ministerial sessions of the Methodist Conference for seven years by secreting himself behind a curtain.

And one year, in an open session, he halted a speaker's rhetoric in full flow by letting off a flash-bulb a few
